Monochrome Japan

My first (So far) trip in 2014. I have longed for witnessing the ancient cultures of Asia and Japan has always been at the top of that list.

A three week working trip turned into cancelling my flight and a one-way ticket to Tokyo for two weeks - I discovered an exhibition by Robert Dosineau in Kyoto and it immediately had an impact on me and the way I shot and edited - I began to shoot in Black and white straight from camera.

This trip changed the trajectory of my life and goals. This trip was the moment I realised I wanted to do this for the rest of my life and there was no doubt.
